Reading is something you can - and should - do with your child at any age. From newborns through to much older children, it is a bonding experience we should all cherish - daily!
Although on the surface it may seem pointless reading to very young children, that's not the case at all! The quality time spent looking at and reading books helps you to bond with your child and helps establish an interest in books. They can engage in the pictures, listen to your voice and help turn the pages all while sitting snugly in your lap. This is often a great activity that dads can do with their babies!
Here are some ideas for books to share with your child, or to gift to parents-to-be.
