Literacy Groups
Our literacy groups are designed to provide some extra support for children in the areas of reading, writing and spelling.
Flying with Phonics is aimed at 5-6 year olds and highlights some foundational literacy skills. The groups are fun, interactive and games-based to ensure our attendees learn to enjoy phonics and have fun with new sounds and letters.
Cost:
$245 (total for 3 x 1 hr sessions)

Curious Kids clinic, The Cannery, Rosebery
Date & Time:
Flying with Phonics will run across three consecutive days in the first week of the July school holidays - 28, 29, 30 June - from 9:00am-10:00am.
Language Groups
Our language group will target language concepts for 3-4 year olds (think pronouns, categories, question, following instructions, pragmatics, early literacy and even some book reading strategies for parents!) in a fun, jam-packed 60 minute session!
Our speech pathologist, Charlotte, will use books, games and crafts to engage your child in these classes across three days.

Where is your office?Our clinic is located in The Cannery, Rosebery! We are in the beautiful, heritage listed building, upstairs next to the GP and across from HIIT Pilates!

Do I need a referral to see you?No! You do not need a referral to see a speech pathologist. Just give us a call and we can book you in for our first available appointment.

Why don't you have testimonials or reviews?In line with Speech Pathology Australia's Code of Ethics and the Australian Health Practioners Regulation Agency's National Legislation, Section 133 of the National Law states that a person must not advertise a regulated health service or a business that provides a regulated health service, in a way that: uses testimonials or purported testimonials about the service or business. In short, we are bound by the law and our code of ethics not to provide testimonials or reviews for our practice.

I tried to book online but haven't heard from you?!We don't offer an online booking service! It has come to our attention that some third party websites have listed our practice (without notifiying us) with a "Book Online Now" option. However, those who try to book through this service never hear back from us! That is because we have never received your enquiry! Telehealth Sessions
We can support your child via video therapy!
During this time of uncertainty and social isolation, we can provide support for your child's
speech, language and literacy via video sessions.
This is an evidence-based method for providing therapy and it means
your child can continue to progress and learn even when everything else might be out of routine
or when you can't access your usual resources!
